Famoudou Konate's 2002 European Concert Tour

In 2002, Famoudou Konate and his band toured Europe and performed at my former stomping grounds, The UFA Fabrik in Berlin. I attended the concert there, and the one in Frankfurt. It was great getting together with old friends and witnessing the fruits two decades of our collective efforts to help Konate, his family, friends and fellow musicians share with the rest of the world the wonder of Malinke music.
